Greetings!

Just bought an '08 sedan with less than 8K miles for 10.4k. Loving the car so far... I found a baggie with two soft rubber plugs in the glove box. A search of the SB's on this site found this statement in the dealer prep bulletin:

Install rubber body plugs
Install the rubber plugs (stored in glove box or console) into rear torque box holes.

Any insights?

Thanks!

BTW.. this thing is almost as much fun as my Ninja!

look under your car... they usually dont put them in the holes that are located in front of the back wheels... just past the wheel well... they are pretty easy to get to...
If not, take them with you the next time you get an oil change done so you can spot the holes when the car is jacked up.

Mine were missing from the holes in front of the back wheels towards the front of the car, but theres no telling where yours came from.

I'm not sure where the sedans plugs go. On my hatchback they went on the frame near the rear wheel. The GO TOYOTA service advisor couldn't figure it and it took a car runner to show him where they went. Makes me feel real confident in the service abilities. However, I am glad they just didn't throw them out. There has been a few other threads on this issue.

I just checked my LB, and they are both present. One was in a little sloppy so I made it fit nice.
What's the purpose of these things? :iono:
Will water get in the passenger cabin if they are'nt installed?
