Just saw a commercial on TV about a mega sale going on this weekend at the LA convention center and Long Beach.

They state ridiculous offers like $19 ipods and $10 cameras...

Here is what the commercial looks like (oviously this one is for San Diego but they are the same company that host this)

Just giving you guys a heads up about it.

So I don't get it, what do they hope to accomplish by having people go?

Flea market mentality means that you want to buy crappy stuff. I'll bet it's grey market stuff from China. Probably have the Appel Ipud, Sayko watches, Alphine car audio, Kinwood, Macrosoft X-Box, Suny PalayStation, Nontendo Wee, etc...

I went to one in Yakima, paid $5 to get in only to find the exact stuff you guys are talking about. One guy was even selling bootleg CDs & DVDs with horrible inkjet printed covers. I was tempted to call the cops. Also loads of rip-off cheap clothing.

I guess third-world flea markets are going mainstream. I wont be suprised if the event is sponsored by Nong-Shim. There promoting their new "Cream of Some Yung Guy" soup:laugh:

What does a noodle company have to do with flea markets?

If any of you go, don't try the soup in the styrofoam cups. Just leave that $H!+ alone!
