[TEHxFALLEN V1.2]

I have owned the Yaris for a year and 3 months. Today, I hit 8888 on the odometer.. awesome. Here are some random pictures that were taken yesterday.

Oh, and if anyone's interested in the orange Eclipse in one of the pictures, it's my buddy's and he's wanting to sell it sometime soon. He's asking $1000. Let me know, and I'll hit him up. Enjoy.

I believe it's overheating, but I'll ask to see if he had corrected that problem or not. He's had the car for over 2 years now and I don't hear him talking about problems with it anymore. But I'll ask him again to make sure. Other than that, the body is straight with some paint chips here and there, where most are smaller than centimeter. He's a truck driver, with very few days in the month where he's actually able to drive it, so I rarely hang out with him.

What trim is that? I heard to stay away from the RS trim. However, that rear bumper looks like a mid 90's GSX with a paint-matched rear lip. I could be wrong tho.

Well, it is a non-turbo Eclipse.

& I did question him about the bumper. He doesn't seem to know anything about this car for that matter. But that white Eclipse on the left of him is the typical Eclipse I'm use to seeing. I wonder if his car came like that.

Reverse lights definitely makes it a 95-97 model. Might be a GS trim.

My other buddy owns a GS that looks like that white Eclipse. Do you have any idea what this bumper is probably off of?

That white one is either a '98 or '99. Those years, the reverse lights were those circle ones on the bumper. For some reason, a GSX comes to mind when I see that bumper (on the orange one). But I really can't say for certain.

Correct. Those two use the 4G63 (or was it the 4G64) engine. I don't remember the engines that the RS and GS uses tho.

GS uses a 420A. Same engine that a SRT4 has but the one in the Eclipse is .4 liters smaller. RS if Im not mistaken has the non turbo 4G63. And the GTX had a turbo 420A. :thumbsup: That looks to me like a GTX rear bumper.

edit: BTW you might not have heard of a GTX because Mitsu only imported around 1000 of them. But my brother is an Eclipse fanatic. So...

Cant find a pic right now. Ill get my brother to find one later. But it looked almost exactly like the gs, but it had the turbo wing, side skirts and a front mount.

Yeah, I'm beginning to think that Halloween is actually practiced everyday here :iono:

I got my car around October 20th, and the CRX at about the same time. I think I drive a maximum of about 2-3 miles a day, but now.. that has increased. I'm easily doing over 50-60 miles now, venturing out into places. So, I take the CRX out for longer drives.

I want less miles on the Yaris.

..I bought the yaris as my 'commuter car', saving gas & keeping my other cars with as less mileage as possible-ya know!! So I drive the yaris much as I can whenever, wherever.. :thumbup: luvin' it!!

Oh by the way, my other ride is a '90 Chevy 454 SS truck. It'll pass anything but a gas station hahahaaa!!

There was a 4 month stretch in 08 in which I drove 9k. Moving 500miles does a number on your millage when you end up going back home for various reasons ever 3 weeks.

I drive the car daily, and on some occasions, I take the crx to work.

Work, school, and home are within a 5 mile range :laugh:
