Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but I wanted to make sure.

I have a canadian model, so my DRL's run my lowbeams, I'm interested in putting HID's into them, since everything down to my bike has them, but will the DRL's interfere with the HID's running properly?

I'd actually prefer to keep the DRL's over getting HID's, so thats why I'm asking, but if anyone has success with running HID's w/o touching the module I'd be a happy dood

as you mentioned, its one or the other. Lose the DRLs for the glare kit, or keep the DRLs and stick with halogens. Most kits do not come with relay harnesses, and the low power of DRL's do not help with ballast life from the low power.

The voltage for the DRL's are lower than when you actually turn them on so as stated above, you will need to disable your DRL's which is pretty simple to access to and do.

I remember Chris07 having a write up on this and how to DIY.

Don't recall a foglight problem. Care to share about the relay =]
