What do you guys think of this but saying yaris instead? I am assuming its just a simple black vinyl overlay but opposite just letters punched out. Anyone have this mod. I am wondering if its too cheesy or ricey.

I remeber someone looking at one that said Yaris and having the Ebay seller be a complete jerk to them. Never heard anything else about this kind of project.

don't know if it's the same guy but he came on here and spammed the board, eventuall got kicked off of eBay.

Try asking the seller a few questions about how they apply and stuff, and see what he says.

im pretty sure that covering your break light is illegal. you might want to check on that before you get pulled over

I've seen dodge caravans with the 'ram' logo covering the brake lights. I've seen them on more then one so I'm sure they come stock cause why would you mod a caravan like that xD? So it might be legal...dunno.

Okay i did this mod today =). I actually had a leftover yarisworld.com sticker. But the reverse kind with the letters cut out. Then cut off world.com so i just had the word yaris. And it happend to fit perfectly overlayed on the brake light. I had to remove it and completely dissasembly it. But put back together since my windows are tinted you cant see it. But when you brake it still likes up a solid red rectangle since i used a white sticker not black but you can make out the world yaris. Like its engraved into the red light if that makes sense. Looks actually really cool and not cheesy looking like i thought. Came out a lot better than i would have expected. Ill try to take a picture tomorrow i gota have someone press the brake while i go outside and take a pic at night

If you were to do this mod i would install the sticker on the inside of the lense if your windows arnt tinted. But mine are pretty dark so you cant see the white lettering outside the car. At night it really looks good. Since its white you can see through the letters while having a imprint of the word yaris showing through. If you wanted it to be more bold you could use black colored lettering.

Tomorrow ill try to take a pic of how it looks outside the car when brakes are applied

Too ricey IMO, and the ebay seller is a complete douche bag.

Okay after installing it on the car i have to agree with phxdemon looks really ricey. At night it does look pretty nice. I would have to get rid of the white and get red vinyl that way in the day time it has a clean look. But with the white you can still see it even through my tinted windows. I thought you couldnt but when i parked my car in a well lit area today it looked pretty cheesy.

some smoke vinyl would be the way to go for the best look. Basically invisible but making the cutout stand out when the lights are on.
