Saw this today, and it made me chuckle so I took a picture.

Hey!
PC > Mac

On a TV installed the wrong way!

I know! We have to turn our heads at 45 degree angles to view the screen properly. WTF.

lol, fail indeed.

Have you guys seen the video of Bill Gates showing off some Windows OS on a projector screen, and the system crashes? It was pretty funny. I'll go find it on YouTube.

Its not a fail. They have those in the Targets over here, when its actually running its like a vertical advertisement board. Its actaully kinda cool when running.

But since their is a BSOD than yeah i guess you can call it an epic fail.

Exactly... the installation of the TV is not wrong for how they intend to use it (vertically for ads). But the blue screen of death sure looks good on it!

Yeah you often see this setup in fashion stores here, great way to focus a video of a model on the catwalk...

on a related note...

A few years ago, friend of my parents, a Belgian guy also living in Thailand, had a baby. So he took some videos to send to his parents back home, and asked me to help convert them to VHS.

So I plug in the camera to the TV, and what do I see? The video is tilted 90 degrees, like the baby is sitting on the wall... I look at the guy in confusion and he says he shot it like that like you'd take a photo, the kid fills the frame better

BTW to french people, the belgians are the butt of many of our jokes, much like americans may make fun of the poles, or the british make fun of the irish. Proof that there is some truth in it!
