After graduation in May, I'll be flying down to Georgia to meet up with my girlfriend. Her mother is flying up, then they're driving down - then I'm going down for a week, then we're driving back up.

What places should we stop along the way? So far, I just want to stop in Philadelphia and get a cheese steak.

I want to see the world's biggest something on the way back, otherwise I'll be depressed.

Any ideas? Good bars? Beginner square dance joint? BBQ shack? Places to stay at overnight?

If you are going to Philly to get a cheesesteak I'd recommend going to BOTH Pat's and Geno's so you will forever be able to give an opinion on which you like better. If you can only get one get Geno's but I'm sure someone here will argue with that!

And if you come up through Delaware and take the Cape May/Lewes ferry (you drive your car right onto the ferry) you can stop in Atlantic City and see Lucy the Elephant. I think it is the world's largest. And then it is a direct route to Philly.

I know we are the smallest state, but that is NO reason to leave us off the lst....

We have the World's biggest blue termite (at 58' long) overlooking Rte 95 in Providence.

Patriots point Naval Museum in Charleston is interesting as you have free run in the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown plus a couple of cruisers and a submarine.

The Smithsonian Museum in Washington consists of 22 museums all of which are free,my favorites are the "Air and space museum" and across the mall the "museum of natural history"

If you want scenery how about a drive back along the Blue Ridge Parkway
