Got a flat tire, went to toyota shop, they tell me the tire is unsafe i need new ones.

Does ne1 know where i can get one stock tire 15"
I tink they were Bridgestone potenza re92 p185/60r15"

Toyota ordered one for me, but it cost 159.99 CAD and it will take 1 week till i get them. For only 1 TIRE.

I'm From Toronto, Ontario. Is there any auto shop that sells bridgestone tires? I've checked canadian tire and other places, they only sell goodyear.

you could try taking the tire to a tire shop, asonlg as the puncure isnt in the sidewall, they can almost always put in a perminante patch

At FCP Warehouse (near Montreal) it is 140.00$ cad for that same tire...I'm sure it is the best price you could get because FCP as great prices.

Personnally, I would not spend that much money on a "4 seasons" tire...but that depends on you.

"4 seasons" tires are NOT safe to drive during the winter...and are not giving you the best performance during summer. "4 seasons" tires are made for durability...for people that want to drive on the same tires all year long it is definitly a lot cheaper...but you CANNOT drive with those here in Canada during winter...the law is not against it...but you will get an accident soon or later.

Tires are the most important accessories on your car, you should never try to save your money on tires. But even if the 4 seasons cost a lot when you buy them....it doesn't mean they're good tires. If you're only using your 4 seasons tires during summertime, then when you need to change it simply change for summer tires...it will even cost you less.

For winter, winter tires...for summer, summer tires.

Does $68 (US) sound better?

umm, so with your theory he should buy a set of summer tires and a set of winter tires, which would add up to more then $140cdn that he's complaining about...

My suggestion is not made in the purpose of saving money...but to avoid "4 seasons tires"...to avoid accidents.

It is more than a theory, ask every expert about these tires and they will all say that you should not drive with these during winter. There is no point of buying "4 seasons" tires if you're using winter tires for winter, because a good set of summer tires will cost you less and will be safer than "4 seasons" for summer.

I see too many people buying useless or "cosmetical only" accessories before putting their money on a good set of tire that could save their life.

make sure you ride safe before your ride cool:cool:

agree 100%

before putting on a ridiculously huge exhaust, get some decent snow tires.
