trdsparks has the US version.
OEM one is also stainless steel. so it will not rust, even though the appearance of rust.

A muffler is low-tech, absolutely no need for it to be over 100 bucks in stainless. Someone is getting rich on your money.

I think one of the american header manufacturers has a muffler eliminator for the Yaris Ive seen/heard it on youtube on a yaris search. Lighter, louder, cheaper $$than most. You can weld in a small can on the cheap to make a Kustom pipe.

i've heard of catback which i assume is from cat to the back
i guess axle back is from the rear axle to back , which doesn't include an after market cat and midpipe
but i get confused easily when people start giving different terms Heh
so im guessing axleback is meant as a term for both jdm and us version?

i think most if not ALL exhaust offered for our cars are axleback unless you go custom......

yah. axleback is the term for the piece from the axle to the back. what you are looking for is a TRD axleback. However, you are deciding whether to get the OEM (USA) or JDM (japan) version.

I have a TRD (US version) on my '08 Sedan. Rest assured it not too loud. In fact I'm sure may would consider it too quiet (by ricer standards).
Nice tone during acceleration. Quiet around town and on the highway when going 65 mph or less. Gets louder under the load of travelling 70 mph+ but nothing these 53 year young ears can't tolerate.
That said, if I was planning a 1000+ mile family trip I'd likely take the ten minutes to switch back to the stocker.

Yes, I have the U.S. TRD axle-back exhaust that I purchased from TRDSparks. It connects to the stock mid-pipe. I took Mad Dog for a ride yesterday and we both had to raise our voices to talk while driving at surface street speeds. At highway speeds, it hums at a more tolerable volumn.

I believe you're talking about the Doug Thorley headers and muffler delete pipe, I posted a thread but I believe it was lost in the hack. Here's the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzrLBbpyKSw
