how long are your stock exhaust tip? i got a new tip but the guys cut it out so they could weld it on, but now a notice a decrease in power and a lower mpg, could that be real? or just my imagination? ia saw a thread were is posted diy how to put toyota acessories and they say that the tip for may model has to be 48mm longer. i need to know how long it is so i can compare it. i have a diesel yaris dont know if its relevant. thanks

It is highly unlikely that a piece that you welded on to the very end of a highly restrictive exhaust will do anything to affect your fuel efficiency. It is much more possible that they didn't do a good job putting the exhaust back together properly and that you may be getting a leak down there somewhere... Let your mechanic take a look.
