Window Tint Pricing

im looking at getting my windows tinted on my 4 door sedan with 15% all around and wondering about what it should cost. i got a quote yesterday that was 180$ installed so just trying to not get ripped off.

Thats a deal. Just make sure it comes with some kind of a warranty backing against bubbling. It's $177 just for my back windows in my LB.

I got all the windows except the front windshield on my sedan for $280. It's 3M brand, metallic (not dyed) tint with lifetime warranty. Back 5 windows are 5% and the front two are 35%.

Yeah im not sure the brand they were going to use. I yeah i may do a bit lighter on my front two windows having that i dont want to get a ticket right after i spend a lot of money to have it done. maybe 10% on all the backs then 20% on fronts or something.

I spent $340 on mine. Its a ceramic type tint with a lifetime warrenty and 40% heat reduction which is really nice in the Texas sun. Texas has a legal limit is 30 on the driver and passanger and 20 on the rears so i got 15 cause you cant check it.

that's a helluva deal. I got mine done with a carbon-injected 3m film; 18% all the way around for ~$300 with a lifetime warranty.

fyi, 10% is very dark but if you like it, by all means do it! Good luck.

Just FYI if anyone's interested... not sure how accurate these all are, but you can check the legal tint limits by US state... HERE (http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/).

My pricing was 2 boxes of window tints and $5 to a friend lol. 20% on sides but im gonna remove them soon and put 5% on sides and 35% on the front and back window.

paid $180 i think for all 7 windows (not the front windshield of course). Did 60% tint on the front windows, and 50% on the rears. Not nearly as dark as you guys, but I think it actually looks better. Its way easier to see out of at night time and its still dark enough to provide enough privacy for the people seated in the rear.

thanks for all the input went to another place and got 13% on sides and 22% on rear window cost 175$ and got a lifetime warranty. I cant really believe how much of a difference it makes apperance wise to the car. looks awesome.

I bought the "Best" quality film at PepBoys. It's 35% with metallic content. Has a light brozeish look about it. Accents my Meteorite quite well.....
Spent like $45 on 3 packs.
Forget about doing the hatch window! I gave up after 2 tries. I later discovered you can heat up the film with a heat gun to mold it to the glass.
Anyways, it's done and I'm happy.....:drool:

i just got chrome faded tint to 20% on my 2007 yaris got it done on all 4 windows winshield and backwindow only cost me 275$ with lifetime warranty

i was just quoted a $99 special for the whole car.. 15% in back and 28% (or 30.. can't remember) in front, includes the opt. windshield thing. using llumar tint with a lifetime warranty. it's normally $120, but they're running a special through the month.

here in puerto rico i got 35% all around for $110 but $ 180 its a good price so for it!!!
