and i think that changing to iridiums would spice things up a little
theres the denso iridium power
and theres the NGK IX iridium


so which one is better?

i had the ngk iridium plugs in a bike a had, it really made a difference, the throttle fealt so crisp n clean, not sure if it would make a noticeable diff in a car though. i myself would like to know if they would :confused:

Both brands are OEM for Toyota.

Some Yaris come with denso and some with ngk. You can't go wrong with any of them... If there is any difference between those you won't be able to feel it.
Denso's are usually more expensive.

Both brands come out of the same NGK factory, Denso just has theirs relabled
same thing for Autolite and Motorcraft
NGK also makes all the IR plugs for Delco as well

Problem with Iridiums plugs in general is that if you do a lot of idling, short drives, starts and stops, the plugs foul far easier. And they cost a lot too compared to regular plugs.

But the power gains of Iridium plugs are definitely true from my experience. I've seen a lot of logged dyno runs on turbocharged cars that switched from regular plugs to iridium oes and you'll see a smoother power curve, with the iridium equipped cars picking up the odd 2-3, sometimes even 5hp everywhere along the curve.

ok how about the splitfire brand is it good?
and should i use spark cables as well , or stick to my ordinary ones/

splitfires are just a cheep plug, I would never put them in anything I own

our car does not have spark plug cables, it is a coil on plug design
