Disconnected the negative battery terminal and removed the alternator to install the NST alt pulley. When I got everything back in order and started up my car, the following don't work: power steering, power windows, power locks, radio, heater and controls, and the airbag light is lit on the dash. Any suggestions? Thanks!

check the main fuse box under bonnet next to the battery.

Any fuse in particular?

All the main fuses in the box, they are the square ones with a clear veiwing
window , sounds like you have blown them all.

i would also check your alternator connections and make sure they are not touching anything.

Thanks, I'll check it out tonight after class and report back. Can you find that type of fuse locally?

more likely you forgot to hook something back up.... check all your connections and look for a loose ground

It's only a negative battery terminal, 2 plugs on the alt., and a ground on the alt. Pretty sure they are all connected...I'll double check. I don't know why ALL of those fuses would blow.

more likely did not reconnect something, than all those fuses blowing at the same time

Fuses seem to be straight. I unplugged the 2 plugs and ground, then reconnected. Still nothing...anyone else?

This exact thing happened to me after the pulley install. There's a harness in that area that I broke and needed to replace.

What is considered broken? The plastic casing is not cracked or anything. The plug on top or on bottom, or the entire harness?! Thanks TK!

well in my case it was the female end of the plug... they used some epoxy to hold it together... It worked for a while, but it broke eventually.

....remove the negative and then the positive look at the big glob of crap on the positive battery wire.....make sure both the fuses are ok....the one is the alternator fuse won't let the car turn over the other is the starter fuse IIRC.... both are like 50A or something....

The car turns over, starts, and runs perfectly fine. I just have no power to any accessories.

well, it sounds like a grounding issue like Black said.....

+1 on that or it is the main power wire to the under bonnet fuse box,
double check your earth contacts in engine bay , and check + as well
see picture off fuses , and don't worry about the wires circled in yellow.
they are the fog light wires.

you might also look at the fuses in the car under main main junction
check photo it is under that .

I believe I found my problem. The 120 Alt. fuse within the fuselink on the positive battery terminal was fried...we'll find out on Tuesday when the replacement arrives. Thanks again for all the replies!

lol nah...I should've written the entire thing out...the alt fuse because its so big will sometimes melt itself to a point where it will still arc power.... but the pcm senses a drop and cuts all outlying power accessories....

Hehe, I guess "big glob of crap" doesn't mean much to me! Not quite the type of fuse I was expecting to see... I believe its some sort of fuselink.

be careful not to short out battery.
but you should have no worries unless you are doing all 3 pullies.

It's a fuseable link...have a look sometime. Take off the red plastic cover on the positive battery terminal.

Its 2019, is anyone still on this forum? Anyone following this thread?
If I understand correctly, I am looking for something under the big plastic protector on the positive wire that runs to the battery? This seems to be the same problems I have been having...

The glass rectangle you see here is the fusible link. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190115/f2c588355220c864c3491fafc632bd38.jpg
