I was able to have the boss eat the $200 territorial price increase....

having the shop do it is beneficial, in the sense that they are ultimately responsible for the "publicity" of the event, and it in turn attracts attention to their shop.... i have no problem with you doing it all on your own and saving money, it just becomes more leg work for you to do,
but if you can and want to do it the deal is yours...

Anyone outside the immediate So Cal area that DOES NOT go through one of PE's authorized dealers will have to include a copy of their state DL and credit card (both sides) for insurance verification that we will receive our videos, commentary, and dyno sheets. Thanks Mike, but I dont need or want any of your teachings, this is a OFFER, by no means do you have to accept it. If you dont like it you may go through a dealer and then at that point we will hold the dealer responsible for the videos....
In retrospect, I could care less about the videos, its all the people who read this thread and are active on the forum that keep complaining for videos. I'm putting this together for you guys, I dont make any extra money doing all this crap.
Frankly, I'm getting sick and tired of being "educated" on what is and isnt right...
Its real simple, there is a new super charger kit, its for sale at a discount with terms, if you dont like the terms I can give you a bit of a discount below MSRP. Take it or leave it....no one is forcing anyone to buy anything....
And Mike, thanks for your advice, but keep it to yourself. posting this is useless and makes my job more difficult than it already is when not so brilliant people like yourself give their $.02 cents
Oh and to add, if someone doesnt have the intention to defraud PE by buying a kit and not giving what was expected back, then they wouldnt have anything to worry about....
Most people would not have any issues with giving up a CC number, I know I would not. Then again, I dont have devious intentions to begin with.
Oh and to give something back to you, CC fraud is a waste of time, NO amount of money being made/stolen is justified in going to jail for....

well, you know its kinda discouraging.....
You(the forum participants) ask for videos, ask for free shipping, ask for a better price....
I try to accommodate all the requests, and frankly all I get in return are smart ass comments and god's gift to the world .....
It sucks, I dont know about other vendors, but I dont make SH!T extra out of participating from this forum....I make the same crappy hourly wage no matter what...I dont get any commission from a Yaris SC kit sale.
Which brings me to the point of is it even worth it?? for me to keep it up here
I get a few encouraging words here and there , but more bullsh1t than bite....:confused::frown:
I keep on here for as long as my patience can take it.... wish me luck :help:

It was worth it. It would have been nice to have the PE kit with more HP, but it just didn't work out. Hopefully someone buys it..

Videos/pics of install, testimonial, drive-by, before and after comments, Dyno, Yaris meet with at least 20 cars showing up....must be photographed/video.
Keep in mind this is all the stuff that you (the thread readers) have been asking for over and over and over......
I have also had several questions in regards to automatics....
The super charger kit has nothing to do with the transmission and will be able to support the added power
I currently have 3 kits in stock....FYI to all :drinking:

20 Yaris in the same place happens all day long, at the dealership...thats all your going to get, its hard to organize the meets for the Yaris clubs out there, the only ones that have good turnouts are the Socal Yaris peeps.
Other than that, the most Yaris I have seen in the same place even in a populated state like Florida, is 5. And that was bringing people from all over the state.
Oh and on a brighter note, I would drop the coin on this in a heartbeat, if I knew I could meet the stipulations, which I wouldnt be able to for a while.

You are waisting your time i hope you kno that... how long has it been since you started? You tried but just no bite, the demand is not here for that kit and you missed a few sales because of all the strings attached. Good luck tho i would just pack up and find another location to sell your project.

i'll agree that there hasn't been a bite but to say there is no demand is not true. many people obviously want this or it wouldn't span this many pages over two different threads. i think it's just some people are either broke or unsure about the product. or even both. and there's really only strings attached if you want the discounted price, otherwise it's just like buying anything else... which i don't think that's really all that unreasonable. stick around long enough and someone will buy it i say. just may take some patience. a LOT of patience. when one person buys it more will follow.

I think the thing that is putting off a lot of people is the fact that for a comperable price to this deal ($3100++) you can get a known entity (Blitz). Even though the offer price is abouy 25% off the list for this kit, the fact that that "special" price includes several pretty onerous requirements is putting people off.
As others have proposed...in order to get this thing off the ground PE will need to make the deal much better for the first convert to this kit.
I understand PE needs to make money and cover development costs, but PE needs to take into account the value of the feedback and advertising they will be getting in return, including the probable costs to the individual who gets the kit as a result of a few days off work to attend car shows and to get some dyno time, not to mention the install time (I work on Saturdays:smile:).
I would venture to guess that the number of boosted yariss' has doubled in the last 12 months thanks to the blitz kit, and the market, though a little weak at the moment, is still ready for a real competitor to the blitz kit.

anyone got an idea what intercooler would best fit this particular project? greddy makes a kit for the xB... just wondering if that'd be my best bet? i know nothing about this so any help is appreciated.

i can suggest you do not go with any name brand because you'll get raped for it price wise. Measure the mouth of where you are going to put the intercooler and work from there. It's where is will be most efficient you need to measure for(bigger is not always better in this case), and you are not running serious boost to need that much cooling power.
