Ebay - cheap 1zzfe TB

Here's a link to several 1zzfe Throttle Bodies on Ebay right now. Looks like the same guy selling used ones. $45 plus shipping is the best deal I've seen. I'm driving over and picking one up Monday morning. It's only 1 hour from my house.

Just to follow up and plug these guys one more time. I picked mine up yesterday. It is in perfect condition. This is a salvage company that has a surplus of these TB and is just letting them go on Ebay. He had 6 more available. They are really standup kinda people and a pleasure to deal with.

nice! will this TB fit the stock intake tube no problem?

Good question. I took the 1.8 TB out to the garage to check against my removed stock intake, and it's the same diameter. Now the intake is rubber so you may be able to stretch it on the TB. I have a AEM CAI that also has a rubber collar that I think I can get to fit the new TB without a problem.
You might PM the barber on this forum. I think he has installed one of these.

Has anyone successfully installed this TB and actually noticed a big difference :iono: also I assume the drive by wire electric plug is the same as the 1nz correct?

Honestly to me for any minor and i mean it has to be only minor gain for all the work and possible side effects and problems poeple have been having i have read people who have jsut put thier vehicle to stock after trying this mod. It does not seem worth it. I mean maybe as a last mod after you have done many many mods. For example someone who has a nearly stock yaris already that 60 dollars could be spend on a drop in free flowing filter and would probally get better gains then a slightly larger TB. This is jus tmy own person opinion based on no real word experience so please dont flame me.

As long as the idle adjust screw is used it works fine. Slightly quicker accel. maybe a pony or two. Sound is the biggest.
