Is it wrong? Yes. Sad? Absolutely. Do I feel bad for the guy? Sure. BUT... is it funny? YOU BET YOUR ASS.

My first reaction was :eyebulge: but then I thought about it for a while and you know, it can't be all that bad. I mean, at least she hasn't eaten him yet.

Hopefully plastic surgery and lipo was a wedding gift.

This is a typical WT status guy with the woman who could eat him scenario.

"A girl like this only comes around once in a lifetime" is correct, the trick is to hide.

Is it wrong? Yes. Sad? Absolutely. Do I feel bad for the guy? Sure. BUT... is it funny? YOU BET YOUR ASS.

I saw this photo set a year ago. Someone is having some "fun" by quoting this on a MMA site.

I don't think happiness is funny. I sure knew a lot of attractive, stunningly attractive, women who were unhappy. I dated a few of them.

In my late teens I stood five ten, and weighed about a buck sixty. I was quite muscular. I resembled Greg Brady, only more "swarthy". I could not walk down a street in a Jewish neighborhood on Rosh Hashona without being told "Happy new year, young man", though I am not Jewish.

I also had Jewish girls pull out their Mogen Davids and wave them at me. Sometimes they were even more blatant.

I met women who said, "You're so stuck up" because I was so shy, bashful and critical of myself that I would not talk to them. My class Homecoming Queen looked like Donna Summer, and one day we talked for a bit and then I left. She told her friend, looking at me, "He must be queer". The friend I found out later had a terrible crush on me, and the Homecoming Queen was also taken with me. When you don't value yourself who else can?

I had women pinch my bottom, chase me down the street, jack me up against chain link fences and attack me. I figured people did crazy things sometimes..

I also was "cruised" a lot by gay men when I went away to school. A lot. One friend "Came out" and harassed me until I nearly belted him. I am not gay and did not understand at all what I did to attract these men.

I was a pretty good looking kid, who was very lonely. Being good looking on the outside is no guarantee of happiness, but being comfortable in one's own skin is a good way to be happy.

No, I don't think that those photos are one bit funny. Instead I am happy that those two are comfortable enough with who they are to post those photos online. I hope that they are happy together. Two of my best friends are a couple like those two - she is heavy, he is skinny. They are very happy. I will often come to her with advice on women because she has been around a lot, and because she is a fantastic listener who is wise.

I feel sorry for those MMA guys. I hope that some are doing it because they love competition and enjoy pitting their skills. Those who are doing it to feel more "masculine" or to be worthy of something... too bad for them.

I'm sorry Gene, I do agree with what you are saying, but I am still laughing my ass off at some of those comments..not their happiness.

It's not really the guy who posted that in the pictures. Those pictures have been floating around for a few years now.

I actually just feel bad that we live in a world where his choice on partner is something he should be made fun of for. I mean, sure, she isn't my type, but I know that happiness can be hard to find (if not impossible). I am sure that the real guy in those pictures is well aware that his bride is not very conventional in her appearance, and I'm also sure he was able to move past that in order to marry someone he was happy with.

I agree its sad, but at the same time you have to be realistic about the primal nature of human beings. In other words, why in the HELL would you post pictures?! On a MySpace page no less!

Page 3. Still trying to figure out if this is real.

Don't get me wrong. I'm down for love for other people, and all that crap. But there is a tone of scarcasticness to this post. I think.

So Charles, srsly, would u tap the wife? Or the husband?

Attraction is such a subjective thing... for all you know his first girlfriend was a hefty lady and left such a good impression upon him that he seeks out the same sort of comfort with another such lady.

agreed... it's so easy to be hung up on appearances, we've pretty much been brainwashed into that our whole lives... Barbie body = sexy... And how many guys who marry beautiful women are truly happy once the novelty wears off?

So, joke or no joke, I do applaud that guy for following his heart and being with a woman he truly loves. At least I hope he is!

Yeah, yeah. I married a little 113lb gal, and after 3 years she weighed 177, stopped working, and (worst) stopped thinking; we split not long after. I tried to tell her that all that weight would make our lives hell in the long run, and by the time the tonnage took its toll, I was long gone: feet, ankles, hip, gall bladder, respiratory, etc, all ailments directly attributable to her weight. I wish the guy luck and a good medical program, he's gonna need both.

Yeah, frankly, there is no excuse for it anymore... anymore than there is an excuse to be a smoker, which I do avidly. We've all got our faults, but I don't smoke 8 packs a day, nor do I weigh a quarter ton...
