Reviews I have read for my speakers (polk mmc6500) say they require a lengthy break in. What exactly will change in the audio once they are broken in? I just installed and have about 20 mins on them and they dont seem at all bassy right now, less than the stockers! Am I correct in thinking that once they are broken in I will get more bass out of them?

The cone wont completely throw if you know what I am saying. After they are broke in the cone will have more excursion and can play lower. You will notice a difference if you love SPL and loud BASS if they are subs. Dont forget bass is made for subs and dont try to make speakers something they are not used for.

I was a fan of the L7 Solobaric from Kicker and they had a break in time. They sat them out for so long playing at a certain frequency and then they were broke in. Trust me you will see a difference.
