On my other car i have one of those broadway mirrors i covered the back of it with dynamat to keep it from rattling when my subs hit

I have the same problem with my stock rearview. How do you fix this?

take out the lubricant in the ball/swivel area (if there is any)....and put something thick and sticky in instead (like tar). Had a buddy do that back in high school with success.
You can also try to dynamat/expand-o-foam the frame of the car around the windshield, try to make it a lil less prone to flex.

I did that in my acura before. But used permanent epoxy. Got the mirror to the perfect position and its permanently glued. I dont know what to do if i sel lthe car someday lol the next person wil lhave to be stuck with it. Also my power seat broke so its stuck in the perfect position for me as well. So the new owneer will have to sit way back.

Another thread revival! My mirror has always vibrated, but it's gotten worse lately. It seems like the entire mirror is a little loose, did anyone figure out a why to tighten it?
