I got mine a couple of weeks ago, and had it done when it went in for the 30k mile service last week. No biggie. No more noise than before.

they take out noise insulation by the seat belt. Like sail said hardly any noticeable noise difference.

Got mine today. Fortunately, I traded in my '07 LB a couple of months ago.

The Yaris has "sound insulators"? Could have fooled me.

Im so busy right now... I don't even drive my car so unless it just explodes by itself, it'll be fine.

AFAIK, Its just a muffler to reduce the 'pop' noise when the belt pretensioner fires on the seatbelt. I guess it can catch on fire so they are taking it out. IDK why anyone would care about a little noise when you are crashing into a ford explorer at 50mph:iono:

I got mine yesterday, too. I'm not thrilled about having to take the time to have it fixed.
