Looks just like an '09. I bet we'll see a new bodystyle for 2011 in the U.S.

I don't know why people keep thinking there's going to be a new Yaris for 2010.
Toyota just face lifted the '09's which wouldn't have happened if changes were taking place for 2010. 2011 the earliest but likely 2012 for a completely new model (5 year model cycle).

For 2010MY, the Yaris receives its first mid-cycle facelift. The car also comes with a new Petrol 1.3 litre Dual VVT-i Inline-4 mated to a new 6-speed manual gearbox or optionally, to a semi-automatic MMT transmission first seen in the Auris. The new engine produces 101HP and 132 Nm of torque yet still returns 5.1 lt per 100 km or 46.1 mpg. The new Yaris will also be available with Toyota's new Stop&Start technology which helps explain the low fuel consumption
Wow, 2010 has a very good features.

I wish I could pin down a specific month for the release of the 2010 model Yaris. All I can find is "the summer". They freely release info everywhere that the 2010 Camry would be released in March. Why do they do that?

I bought mine about 1 month ago (april 2009) & it works very well :headbang:
stpo&start system works perfect... even if in some circumstances isn't available (for ex when air conditioning is on)
for the rest the new engine pushes very well
bye,

we'd probably get that here, but still mated to a 1.5L 16V DOHC VVTi motor, in auto and stick variants

Agree, they just brought out a brand new bodykit for the 2009 yaris lb and sedan. I don't think they'll do much in the next year or two.

yeah, i never understand these threads. 2007, 2009, 2010. they are all the same yaris. the mid cycle refresh fro 09 was very minor. the only thing that happened that was significant was the addition of the 4 dr hatch in the U.S.
i agree, an actually new yaris will arrive for the 2012 model year.

Europeans generally get the newer models first anyway, to crash test them all for us!
Mostly it's just the suspension tuning that changes, along with the steering wheel located on the opposite side.
