windshield wiper issue

my driver side wiper is 'shuddering' and 'streaking' on the top part of the arc.
I have already replaced the blade.
what else could be causing this?

It appears that the blade is not turning over properly and starts to 'hop'

go to toyota there is an issue on the wiper springs or gear..they should be able to replace it free..

news to me when did that become a north american issue?far as i know it was due to washer nozzle failure and wiper cowl replacement.

mine streaks at the top left corner where the wiper flips and come back. My problem was the frameless wiper does not put enough pressure on this particular part of the wiper.

Are you using the OEM wipers?

any tsb regarding this issue mine does the same thing with a no-frame and with OEM wipers

if its under the 3 year/36,000 mile then its warranty.....

i have the same problem but in the rear little tinny wipper... when it come back make a horrible sound like if the car throw fart!! any clue? :iono:
