&*#$%. What's with all you Americans pulling out your seats. Why can't someone up here in the GTA be doing this!!! Our only chance for a 60/40 is a wrecking yard.

Damnit this is actually a bit closer than the last time I had the opportunity, the only thing now is that I have no money. Soon or later I will have a 60/40 split and some nice seat covers.... Some day......

well i work for a volvo truck company and our biggest client it Averitt express so we get sweet rates on shipping freight. or some of the familiar truckers will pick it up for free for us but we have to wait on their schedule for them to come back into the nashville area.

Funny, sometimes I wish I had the bench seat! Kinda like the headrests.
I do get LOTS of use of my 60/40s sliding feature though. Let's me stuff a LOT more cases of water and 12 packs of sodas back there!
Is there any difference in material quality? If you remove the headrests, will the bench fold flat?
Good luck with the sale, everyone seems to want one!

sabretooth and i did the swap to my car. First of you must put the seat in and drill were the holes should be and after you take off a little layer of aluminum sheeting the threaded holes will be in the right spot.

On the black market you could get a lol of money for a child....... nevermind  jk
I don't intend on getting rid of mine anytime soon either, but down the track, who knows what the future may hold. Might have to sell it if my wife and I have kids, will need 4 doors then.
They may release the D4-D Diesel Yaris here and I might want one of them or maybe an electric yaris. Maybe even a flying Yaris

Thanks Jill. Installed it last night. It wasn't so bad to install it. Drilled a few holes (Why Toyota covers these up, is beyond me).
60/40 seats are freaking awesome! I love it. My friend who helped me with it kept complaining and questioned why I bothered with it. When we were done, and showed him why I wanted it, he was like, "Oh, this is actually kind of cool."

So, it isn't a direct replacement? That's good to know for if/when I find a split-folding rear seat for my Yaris. I'm still looking, but they are hard to find within a reasonable distance from here...
Cheers! M2

Sort of. The threaded nuts are there for the 60/40 seat, but they are covered up by some sheetmetal. There were three in the front that needed to be opened. Two toward the rear, that are simply covered up by white plastic clips. There were two more that need to be opened, but since they were too close to the fuel tank, I din't want to risk it. There seems to be enough bolts on there that I didn't feel the other two would make it unsafe.

I don't mind the backseat-less trend going on, as it improves my chances of swapping over my rear bench to a split-folding one! Now, who in Texas is going to cough up the donor split seat for my 08?
Cheers! M2
