my stock tire is 175/65/14. Will i get more FE? Will my car handle like crap after swap to this size tires?

Probably to both questions. But I think the yaris is unstable on 185s without the sway bar.

Why is it good size for snow? I think wider tires have better traction in snow. :confused::confused::confused:

If you want to take it skiing, yes....
As TireRack puts it, "A wide, low profile or large tire has to "plow" a wide path through snow which causes more resistance. The narrower the tire, the easier you can get through snow. "

Tall and narrow = dig and drive. Google winter rally racing. Looks goofy but it's all about the grip.
