Haha, we had our hotel there when we went to Montreal NYE 04 to see Infected Mushroom and Preach at Aria in Montreal.

Why the f*ck did we stay in Laval then? Well, originally we were gonna see The Thrillseekers spin at a party in Laval, but either he or the club cancelled that, so we went to Montreal for techno. :wink:

God, being sketchy and driving to Laval from Montreal after leaving Aria around noon the next day (the club was STILL goin... amazing party) was f*cking nuts.

I was never so happy to see a hotel in my life :biggrin:

Seeing has how many of us are from urban areas of Canada, it wouldn't be hard to organize local meets.

I know a Vancouver meet would be ridiculously easy, because Van is a small city compared to Toronto (good luck guys) :wink:

Heck ya dude, I LIVE for trance (and to a lesser degree house). Since WEMF after seeing Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E. the Drummer, I've converted to full on appreciation of techno! :drool:

Trance owns my soul though :wink:

p.s. ironic, after missing The Thrillseekers in Montreal that NYE, I saw them at WEMF last month when I saw DAVE and Chris! :clap: He was phenominal! Blew the place apart... quality epic trance at its finest!

Whats's a donair? Blasphamy! seasoned open roasted beef (beef in Canada) in a flat bread with onions and tomatos with a sweet sauce (I think it's mostly vinegar and sugar). Good stuff, there are not as many places out west that make them

I wouldn't know firsthand; never owned a cell phone before and I'm not getting on that wagon anytime soon. Services and their providers have a long way to go on the road of improvment before I sign that dotted line.

From what I've heard from others, there seem to very few if any complaints regarding reception. I don't know of any dead spots around the greater St. John's area- and that makes sense, given the abundance of equipment located on several hills of modest height.

In Burlington Ontario for about 30 years "Sammy's" has served Donairs with a sweet white sauce.
He is of Lebanese origin, if I recall correctly.

um, its 830pm - whenver, iirc.

its the toyota nation meet, but its typically mostly matrix and yaris's guys....but there are usually some others - - a fair amount of mr2's in the summer, too

lol, i know that. but at the same time the numbers have been light (i only made it to 3 of the meets and it was low numbers for yarii ppl.

personally wednesday nights arnt the best for me, thinking maybe one weekend before the end of the year we should meet up on a sat or sunday and get some good numbers out. at least for next year, the main spring meets more yaris should come out. lol, i hate being the only yaris (or one of the only yaris) out there.

I am from Edmonton and a new Yaris owner. I am having so much fun with my Yaris .. it is really fun to drive and I am very happy with my decision.

That's great to hear! The Yaris is a great car. I can attest to that! The engine, even though it may not be very powerful, it is a very durable engine.

I've been going through the 2014 Yaris recently and the new ncp93 body is nice. It doesn't really say anything exciting about the car, but it is a good reliable mode of transportation that is affordable. The parts are simple and the new body style is easier to maintain. Engine bay accessibility is much better and the interior looks a bit more better built. Unfortunately that center console gauge dash didn't sell very well here in North America. People just didn't understand it.
On our team, we think this was a brilliant idea. It made it easy for production for all over the world and as a drivers perspective the old dash was very easy to read when your driving 9/10ths speed over twisty narrow back roads. The new dashboard will require us to have to read the tach and speedo between the steering wheel, which isn't very safe. Most consumers like the new dashboard layout. :(

If Toyota came out with a special limited edition RS Rally styled Yaris, would you buy one? I'm thinking of a 3 door, rally style wheels, some interior treatments to make it look like the WRC car. (although they're so similar in styling).
