Does anybody have air ride suspension on their Yaris or know of someone who does? Also, pro's and con's of air ride suspension compared to lets say a coilover kit?

Thanks for the input guys, if anybody else has some input, I'd appreciate it. So basically, if your on bags, you cant really track the car?

Damn, that looks nice!

no bags aren't for tracking the car but here is some help on installation, they are also probably the company to go with you would have to do it custom of course.

actually they make a kit for the scions... you could probably make that one work

Thanks, checked out the video, pretty cool. I just dont know if bags in a long run would be a bad idea or not, does it have a negative effect on the car itself or any parts that would suffer from an air ride suspension?

If you bottom your oilpan out too much, probably that.

Does anyone know for sure if the scion xa/xb kits will work? I bagged my xb and may still have some spare parts lying around ;-)

I was also curious if scion xa or xb kits would work, to my knowledge the cars are pretty similar. But I'm a VW guy, my girlfriend wants to bag her yaris that's why I ask.

If no kits I guess we will build a bag over coil setup.

And to bust th handling myth, there is a company in the UK called bagyard who builds track cars on air ride to show they can handle. They have self adjusting/leveling corners so the bags under the most load fill up more to keep it level and handle better. But that's big money. Even without that when the bags are aired up they are pretty stiff like normal coils.

Ride and Drop air suspension have bolt on air ride systems tailor made for the Yaris and many other models. These kits are totally bolt-on, so no need for cutting or wielding…..very easy to install. Each kit comes with 32 point dampening so the ride quality can be adjusted to suite the terrain or individual. Wireless remote control systems are also available; Including DRHS (Digital Ride Height System) which comes with a LCD display remote control computerised with preset ride heights.

last year our demo car was a Nissan skyline R32 Drift car on air (JDM Allstars)

You're from Middlesex? If you guys have a shop nearby, I wouldn't mind evaluating your products in person.

I think this person (or vendor) is from Middlesex, United Kingdom - not Middlesex, New Jersey.

^that depends on the brand and what set up you buy, the ones I've seen are very leveled, I guess its how you use it

'kcalb siray' bought an Air Force kit from me, it's very competitive ($1000 less than Air Runner brand) and high quality.

Most likely bag replaces the coils springs.
