not sure if it was my loud bass or if it just happened over time, but something is rattling near my hatch. i almost always drive alone and have tried to investigate while driving, but that's just not as safe as I thought it would be. it almost sounds like my hatch glass is rattling. wasn't the seat belts. box is firm in place...anyone had this problem before?

I have/did, found it to be the plastic surround of the third brake light, I put a little piece of foam rubber between it and the glass and it was solved. I did notice the license plate would sometimes makes some noise when closing the hatch-put some foam rubber under that too. If you're playing a lot of bass these items are good sources of rattles. It would only happen when I was driving so it was tough at first to figure out since I could not be back there. Trial and error-good luck.

lol

the rear wiper. Actually, i'm not sure if it's a problem on the yaris, but all the echo hatchback had this problem if you have a sub in the hatch.

Was definitely thinking it was the 3rd brake light cover, just couldn't test the theory without driving off the highway. thanks for the advice
