Hey guys, im new here... Liking YarisWorld.

But, i don't know if its just me lacking on maintenance, but ive got this strange noise in my engine bay.

when im at idle there is this noise that sounds like something is trying to suck some liquid. ive checked the fluids and refilled them... like the coolant was low... and of course my windshield was low... but i can't seem to find the noise... anyone know? Thanks

Sounds like it could be a vacuum leak...

Vacuum Leak? how, where? Ive never really looked underneath the car. Or sounds like if you have a manual shift and you start at a higher gear... sounds like its chugging...
understand? ugh, i can't really explain properly.. I have 37,000 so im trying to fix without going to the dealer.. :D

no..

even if the air box was open i would feel a little more HP. lol

i guess i should just take it to the dealership. unless i can find it before then. LOL

make sure your coolant is sufficiently filled, I got a similar noise when I stopped when I paid no attention to the coolant level after losing some when swapping the throttle body.

ill check it again, but i did notice one day while i was washing it that it was substantially low. it was below low. LOL

so, once i get some time, im gonna check everything.
