Hey there - I currently have a pair of RS replica tails but I'm starting to have some issues. Mainly some LEDs have gone out. How hard is it to open these up and solder new LED's on the board? Looks pretty ugly at night with 3 LEDs out.
Would it make more sense just to purchase the OEM Toyota LED tails instead?

Unfortunately, you will have to open them up using an oven and take out the circuit to swap the LEDs. There's no way to do it from behind.
Oh and for those who think genuine parts can't have this problem, think again. LEDs are LEDs, no matter who sold them to you.

I want to contest that statement in about another year:wink:
But go with the OEM ones, better quality for the price you pay~

The only problem I've had with mine is that I have a dim LED on the driver side .. was like that when I got them, but they're only temp.

A replica is just a replica, it's never as good as the originals !
