I've been biting my nails for this movie since before the Black Knight hit theaters!!!

I'm desperately trying to fit it into my schedule for tonight, but either way I'm seeing it soon.

i was utterly amazed at how true to the novel the movie was , the characters were like they were off the pages.. perfect matches. the ending was a little different than the novel .. but good none the less

I'm going to watch it tonight. I'm a huge fan of the comic, I just hope they do Dr. Manhatten justice.

today or tomorrow afternoon show -- too many people around for the night shows, I don't like to wait in line a long time.

It was amazing...Unbelievably graphic violence though...

Cheers

And full frontal nudity. Definitely one for leaving the the kids at home.

Two words, Blue Wang. A lot of people in my theater where kinda childish and giggled every time they showed it.

sorry, but I didn't like this movie at all. Did not hold up to V for Vendetta (same writer).

I can see how it would be cool for those who know the story or have read the book, but I walked out going "what just happened?"

like any book to film .. you lose alot of background that you would kinda need to understand the movie fully

That does not stop stupid parents from bringing their kids cause all they heard was comic book movie. Seen it happen many times.

For me the movie was a little too long. I just don't like a bunch of story telling. I understand why and that it was needed in the movie and the ending was a closure to 2+ hours of narratives but it lacked the excitment, dark night and the spiderman series gives us. It was like the novel was being read to me instead of experiencing it. On a side note the visuals were nicely done. I saw it on Sunday afternoon, there were 10 other people in the theater. When the movie was over only 7 were remaining.

yes. unfortunetly. and some parents just dont care at all... like when i saw Mr. Brooks, some 7 year old was running around the theater asking why the people were naked and dead.

Horrible movie IMO, but that's just me. Wasn't worth the 2.5 hours.

*Spoiler*
Good guy turns bad guy, defeats good guys, tricks world that naked blue guy is evil, world hates naked blue guy, world becomes peace with a common goal of hate for the naked blue guy, naked blue guy leaves earth, bad guy slash former good guy wins. The end. Lame =P

I know 2.5 hours and they even left some vital info out. Easily could of been a 3.5hrs.

The director has already stated that there will be a directors cut. The movie was originally over 3.5 hours but Warner Brothers wanted it cut down to around 2.5 hours. The final cut was a compromise at around 2 hours and 45 minutes.
