Hello guys and gals what I have for sale is my father's 1992 Volvo 740. The vehicle is in perfect running order with over $2,300 invested into it to keep it maintained. The body is straight with minor dings, semi-new Kumhos with about 4K miles on them. Tires are warrantied for 60K miles. 205,XXX miles on the odometer. 4 Speed automatic w/overdrive. Pinkslip in hand.

Kelley Blue Book values this car at $2,670 for excellent condition with 205K on the ODO.

You need a car that can get you from point A to point B while looking pretty classy while still remaining affordable? Or just need a great car that's mechanically sound? Then this car is for you!

The Good:
-New head
-All-leather interior
-No cracks on dash
-Power everything (except seats)
-Car is mechanically sound with all receipts for parts.
-Car passes smog and recently smogged as well.
-Roomy trunk, and lots of space for the rear passengers.
-AC blows ICE COLD
-Clean engine compartment, with no fluid leaks
-New front strut inserts
-Oil change at every 2,300-2,500 miles religiously using Valvoline 10-30

The Bad:
-Crack on the lower storage compartment on both the driver and passenger door.
-Minor wear on the rear leather seats, but no tears.
-Minor curb rash on the wheel covers.

dude, these old "bricks" are a weapon of choice for tuners here, quite a few of them with 2JZ's... there's even a drag one pushing over 900hp :eek:

But back on topic, I'm sure it will sell easy, these old volvos are awesome, rock solid stuff. :thumbsup:

Are you serious? Who would have ever known that Swedish engineering could be so reliable. I had a Saab 900 Turbo before the Yaris, and let's just say that thing was beat to death and it's such a tank lol

volvo's used to be pretty slick cars, I had a 240 RWD, it was super common to supplant a v8 in them... this one also has a red block engine, which is solid iron; haha. just reminiscing i guess ;D good luck on the sale
