i'm guessing it was light front damage and they decided to part the thing out.. probably was deemed totaled by the ins company

That scares me..... my boss at work was saying she was considering the yaris but decided not to because of how unsafe it is in crashes.. i don't want to be ripped in half one day!

Haaa! That salvage place is about 15 minutes from where I live. Wonder if I saw that poor Yaris on the road before it was horribly CRUMPLED like that! :( Sad!

The yaris is actually pretty safe in crashes. My girlfriend was in a bad wreck just over two years ago and the car held up well. Even with the damage they fixed it, and it's still running strong and turning heads 50k miles later.
