I was reading a story in this mornings Sunday paper about a woman who got into the business of car tattoos. I am not into decorating my car but perhaps some might be interested in checking out the site.

Thanks for this. I know some people think stuff like this looks tacky, but I really really want a little accent on my car. Having a hard time finding something ready made that I want (swirls), but I'll check this site out. And if anyone finds any other sites like this hope they share! If I end up deciding to get a custom one I also need to figure out what to get.. magnet, decal, or tattoo? I wonder what the difference between decal and tat is..

Yea I know hehe, but I was guessing since they're calling them something other then decals they might use a different material than a decal? Reading on the site though, it doesn't look like anything special.

BTW, they have a really easy section to design your own sticker, just upload a pic and give them a size.

I might do that, but I am worried about the quality. I don't know/think its vinyl and I was reading thats the best and most durable thing to stick on your car? I just want a solid color design, not a picture so I don't know if using this site is best for me because I'm guessing they just print the design on a white decal. Guessing it would be better if I just got someone to cut a design on colored vinyl for me.

errr yeah.... idk about the self-pic thing... who knows maybe they'll take the time to edit it the way to where they can use it.... do they have pics on the site of "self-designed" decals.

oh and calling them "tattoos" is just a marketing thing, silly :p but it does the job.
