On the run that is headed towards the camera man, I had to let off the gas after shiting into third so I wouldn't be speeding infront of the houses that were ahead of me. More videos soon!

haha thanks! The exhaust sounds very throaty when going WOT. I plan on getting an entirely new exhaust setup (2.25") in a month's time (hopefully). However, I will still be making abunch of videos with this setup for now!

What about the subaru tuning shop thing you got going on? Start it up here in oahu. The STI and EVO scene is pretty popular here. If you don't end up selling the yaris, we can throw in the yaris somewhere in there. ;)

Damn it ... one of these days I'll get a supercharger for my Yaris. Until then, I'll simply make either whining noises inside the cabin while driving, or continue to make the blow-off valve noise every time I shift.

Because the stock exhaust piping is too restrictive. Now that I am boosted, I need to change to bigger piping. Not tooo big, don't want to lose that much torque.

Set on Medium or High, my mpg's better than before, avg 35+
Set on Low I get 31-32

I can't tell you what kind of mileage i'm getting because i just put the thing on. However, my gas gauge is going down faster than usual (expected). After I have fun with the S/C for a few weeks, i'll probably end up putting the setting on Med for most of the time.

don't mean to steal barber's quote's but ive watched that video 5 times now and I WANT MORE. that supercharger whine gets my cawk a bit stiff but i have a question. i treat my car in the same matter as mr.poop and is it good for the car so to speak to be shifting at or around redline with this thing? will i be doing my engine more harm and or will i be losing power?

you wont do any harm running the car to redline....but the harder you run it consistently, the greater the chances of something breaking...

Yah. You should be fine. Just don't be running it to redline for 10 minutes straight. I only did those two runs to get that video. I wasn't going to do ten of those in a row and choose which i liked best. When I was done doing that, I wanted to pet my car and say that I was sorry for pushing it so hard. I drove it soft and like a woman all the way home after shooting that film. But don't get me wrong, it's just resting to be ran hard again very soon! MUAHA!

The only time I really push it hard is at autocross.
