Hello all,

I am new to this forum, looking to expand my services of badge painting (started with Mazda). I was referred here by a friend of mine (also a member of this forum). I am going to figure out pricing tonight and will keep this thread updated.

Basically, the process goes as follows:

Ship YOUR emblems/badges to me (or pay extra for me to pick up new ones)
You paypal what I quote you
I paint them per your order (any color! - not to mention it's a more intense process that involves not just painting for long lasting quality and chip resistant)
I then ship them back to you
You install them, stand back and say "WOW!" :)

Here are some examples of previous clients:

You need to be a vendor for this kind of stuff.

How do I become a vendor?

You gotta message the admins or the moderators and you pay a fee.

Or you could become a member, and lie that you have a yaris. Take pics of your work on emblems that are on a yaris. Have people say, "That looks awesome! Could you do mine?" And then you say, "Sure, but it'll cost you." And they say, "Where do i pay!?"

that's an awful lot of shipping time, why don't you just offer painted emblem packages and buy the emblems yourself, rather than having someone pull their emblems off, ship them to you, and hope you'll ship them back ;)

A TRD Striped Toyota Badge would look pretty cool IMO. Maybe he could also do engine covers?

It's cheaper this way, although if someone wants a new set, I can purchase new emblems and then do my work to them.

bdc - I can pretty much do anything with the emblems. 100% custom work.

So... yeah.. I do have a Yaris... :) I just have a lot of Mazda friends

Can you convert OEM chrome badges to a BLACK CHROME or HYPER BLACK finish?

I can vouch for Corzy, the pictures he posted don't do his work justice at all.

Buy a can of flat black paint for 3 bucks and do it yourself. If you want you can midly sand them primer then primer sealer and then flat black paint for a longer lasting finish. And then if it dosnt last after a few years. Take them off and do it again.

Okay, first off on the Mazda forums.. for the orders that have taken a while was because I had personal issues that I had to deal with. The work at that time was also booming, there's only so much I can do. Now, the workload has gone down a lot because I finished everyone's emblems and shipped them out.

YarisSedan - Please don't come in here and bash my business. Besides, just spraying them will have them chip, crack and peel. There's a more intense process to getting a perfect product that will last way longer than spraying them for those that don't want to repaint their badges every couple months. Think about how distorted your badges will be after a few sprays from all the layers of paint... Thanks :)

So, do you intend on becoming a vendor or should I lock this thread?

I want to see if the interest is here before I become a vender. If I have enough interested in my service, I will contact an Admin.

I would suggest starting an interest list of possible buyers, and posting up a rough estimate of prices.
