Can anybody help me find something like a dust cap..... for lack of a better term.... to go on the stock 15 inch steelies? i'm not talking about the plastic full wheel covers.....just something in the centre of the rim.....

It's an odd size - The hole is ~2 1/8" or ~55mm
The closest thing I've seen is trailer hub dust caps, but the closest standard sizes are 1.98" and 2.328". You might be able to take the 2.328" ones and cut a couple of slits in the part that inserts into the hole to let it press in.

I am not in love witht eh stock wheel covers either, and the steelies don't (seem to) have the necessary rebate to hold onto a "proper" hub cap, something that covers the wheel nuts.
Someone found a set of wheels off another, older, model Toyota that were perfect in my mind; I've been looking for a set ever since. They were chrome, with a proper hub cap...
