I have installed it on my Automatic Liftback.

I paid $250.00 from http://www.thecruisecontrolstore.com/

My advice is to print out 2 copies of the directions from the website in COLOR.

Have a buddy there to help you read the directions and keep track of the installation, get tools, etc... (beer after the test drive)

Pay very close attention to the directions, read them multiple times, stop and read them during the install. You wouln't want to tap the wrong wire somewhere...

Check your brake lights when done, you may need to adjust the switch under the pedal.

Good luck!

Are the instructions specific to the Yaris - tap into the purple wire located under the doohickey? Are there good diagrams/photos?

Just finished installing mine. Pulled it in to the back during lunch and one of my guys helped me. Finished in about an hour.

The most time consuming part was getting the red NSS wire through the firewall. I poked through the grommet for the hood cable and when I thought I was poking the wire through the grommet, I actually pushed the grommet out of the firewall  . Had to re-do the routing of that wire.

Tested it and it performs perfectly.

Paid $212.50 + shipping for mine on my liftback, man. trans. Put it in this past weekend. Tapping into small wires in a very confined space on the junction box wasn't easy. Also a couple of the wires on my car were a different color than the instructions indicated, the pin number is more important than the wire color.
But it all came out ok and seems to be working properly.
