Toyota Genuine Parts already makes these. We have had them in Canada for our 5-doors for many years. The 09 is no exception. I'd prefer Toyota over Weathertech.

Its offered as an option on the car. The price is listed in the picture. I can call my dealership and get a part number. Most Canadian dealerships will ship to the USA. I have paid for shipping of USA-only parts from US dealers to Canada, so I don't see why the converse would not be possible.

Just called my dealership.

$143 CDN.

Part Number C0555-52561

This seems to be the same part number as my 2008 in-channel window visors from Toyota.

I suppose the window frames are the same for 2008 and 2009? :iono:

You are welcome. I have had no issues whatsoever with the Toyota In-Channel Window Visors for my 5-door Liftback. I have heard of many problems about Weathertech, so if you have the choice to get a Toyota part for the same purpose, it makes sense to do so. None of the Canadian guys using the Toyota visors have ever mentioned a problem with them either.

If you have an issue with the performance of the part, you can always contact your dealership or Toyota and get help. You don't have that luxury with aftermarket 3rd party addons, and Toyota will likely not support it.
