2.25" Ftw ! I had 2.5" on my 2.2 accord with every bolt-on back in the day and the low-end response was death ! On the 1.5 w/ the blitz S/c I think 2.25" stright through with a magnaflow on the end will be killer , and just the right amount of back-pressure for low-end tq .

2.25 all the way. My custom set up is 2.25 in/out resonator, 2.25 out/ 3in tip muffler from vibrant. Cat-back tho.

I think RAD has plenty of 2.50" tubing in stock so they suggested that. lol.
2.25" ... that means soon you'll be sellin' that "old" one, huh?

The secret to the most h.p and torque is to have no back pressure but to maintain your exhaust gas velocity. If you go too big in pipe diameter you will loose velocity, I would go no bigger than 2.25 Unless your turbo charged or supercharged then you can go bigger. On this engine with basic bolt on's even 2.25 will not work well until the higher rpm range.

2.25 bro. hey does anyone know how much it will affect gas mileage doing all that?

I'm hoping not THAT much, because I've already lost a lot with the S/C. And I will probably lose more with the 1zz throttle body.

I am supercharged; but this supercharger doesn't put down the kind of power that recquires 2.5" piping.
Ok then, 2.25" it is!
u said after exchaust ur going on dyno i wnat dyno sheets plz!!! plzzz

2.5, so later when you go turbo you don't have to re-do your exhaust..

I highly doubt the 1NZ can put down enough power to require 2.5 work done. In ANY form.

i dont think 2.5 will hurt performance, but i highly doubt you'd gain anything from it. 2.25" should be a bit quieter as an added benefit if that's what you prefer.

But does it require it?

with a supercharger... 2.25" pipes... isn't 2.5 normally used for 500hp or more? How much HP are you putting out?
2.25 should be best for low end torque, but the 2.5 will only play at the top end...

Well, you don't count. You don't REALLY have a 1nz. haha.

2.25 was a good call. Your muffler choice however, was not.

2.25 will be quiter, sound better and won't drop too much back pressure.

Why do people keep confusing me!! I don't know much about cars all I know is I love em.
I have intake and megan header ....which would be better for my car a 2.0 or 2.25?? ... I am planning on going for the prius pistons and other n/a power thingies ... (yes .. power thingies)
thanks in advanced

2.25 will be louder, 2" will be the loudest and make more power. In this small of an engine 2" is plenty. The hotter the exhaust the faster it will flow. I put header back 2" exhaust on a 2005 civic dyno'ed it than put on a 2.5" system and lost 8 hp on the dyno. I went back to 2" and dyno'ed it and gained back my 8 hp. The 2" system was louder using the same brand exhaust. My 2cents.
