April Automall Assembly with BayAreaCorolla and ToyotaNation

so BayAreaCorolla and I have been pondering on a meet to welcome spring. here's my suggestion- a meet at fremont automall similar last year's march madness meet we had with BayAreaCorolla, ToyotaNation, some honda people, and whatnot. they haven't had a big norcal meet in months, and i'm sure they're up for another one. considering that we have an upcoming treasure island meet hosted by newcelica at the end of this month (03/28/09) and BAC's monthly wingstop mini-meet in the first thursday of april (04/02/09), i've come to the conclusion that a weekend in the middle or end of april would be a good time to meet. furthermore, it seems like the majority of the other groups/clubs prefer friday and saturday meets. the lengthy head-start would also give all of us a chance to clean our cars from this past rain and crap.

therefore, i have a couple dates in mind:

friday, 04/24/09

saturday, 04/25/09

Just rendering some prototype drawings into 3D models for one of my teachers for work-study experience. Making small ads for restaurants/small shops in San Francisco here and there on Illustrator :), freelancing w/ that for experience~ Establishing a portfolio.

tomato, thats understandable. I commute to Daly City from Fremont, and I know what you mean, especially around 5-6p traffic coming through 101s. Where in SF do you live? I go to SFSU, maybe you and I could meet up on one of my school days or something? ^_^

hey that's cool and understandable indeed. we hang out pretty late. we'll be out of our cars, walking around and checking cars up till around 8, then we would eat. we usually wait till everyone that's 100% is there, or most of them. afterward, we'll stay till 11 just talking and taking pics and whatnot.

Kioshi, I work downtown and it's pretty difficult for me to meet during the day. I take Muni to get around in the city most of the time. It's impossible to park downtown anyway.

the meet was great and then one call to Joseph made it awesome lol ;). The Corolla people are really cool people to hang around with and the Celica people. I wish more Yaris members around Bay Area would come out of their hiding holes :(

haha. i did too. the turnout was just ok, but it was cool. a nice representation from each camp, and one ridiculously crazy one from the lexus side (joseph's car... :eyebulge:)
