I bought my Yaris used and I don't like the color of the Panel. Red = yuck.
I also need to get at the radio harness.

I'm sure there is a thread for this already, I wasn't able to find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. <3

pull on stuff til it comes off?? I ripped about 20 panels off the yaris before I ever looked in a manual

Here's a DIY on painting the console:

And here is the 2007 yaris factory repair manual

The little piece below the red comes off first. Pull on either side of it.
The two pieces on the right and the left side of the red come off next. Use both hands, one toward the top, one toward the bottom and pull out firmly.
Then above the red, the part that is level to the ground and also surrounds the console gauges comes next. Pull toward yourself.
Then the top piece of red is next. You'll need to unplug the 4-way flashers from behind before it lets go.
And last, the bottom piece of red. You'll need a small flat head screw driver to remove the knobs from behind.

The two red pieces will be the hardest to get off but all the parts just snap out and back in. Reverse the procedure to get everything back in. Good luck!
