How soon to get alignment after TRD spring install?

I looked but it seems the answers I've found vary largely. Can anyone tell me how soon to get an alignment after the installation? Last thing I want is to spend the $70 for an alignment then it turns out I did it too early and the springs settled even more which then I'd have to get another, or that I don't get one soon enough and it eats the hell out of my tires.:iono:

That's the one thing I didn't see anyone say...is that you don't need one. How is that possible?

Took about a month for my springs to settle. One day i woke up and was like hmmm my car seems a lot lower than the last time i noticed it.

But that was about 8 months ago. Still ahvent got a alignment and have no abnormal tire wire. I will probally just get a alignment done when i get my new tires put on. As the factory tires are a treadwear of a mear 160 and will last you 2 years if you are lucky anyways. Most tires are treadwear of atleast 400

reason i say that is because..i had trd put on no allignment done by toyota right after..15 month i blew a shock replaced no allignment done either.. no uneven wear on the tires right now.. only due to camber is untouch when you replace spring and shocks. unless to go lower by 2 inch or more tehn its highly suggested..

I had mine aligned immediately after TRD Sportivo install. It needed camber bolts to get right on.
And even if the camber didn't change it's the toe-in that gets increased with a drop. Nothing destroys tires faster than incorrect toe.

What is the TRD sportivo? Now I'm starting to get confused because it seems like I don't need to get the alignment done after the TRD spring install but now one comment says so and mentions TRD Sportivo, I'm lost.

I have put 3 sets of TRD shocks/springs on my Yari , each time they were within Toyota alignmet specs immediately after the install .....but it doesn't hurt to be sure :smile:

one other thing to look into, if your area is known for potholes, some shops will sell a lifetime alignment... which is only a good idea if you plan on keeping the car... usually the price for the lifetime alignment is about 140 with regular alignment at about 70... personally, i have done the lifetime alignment thing as in my area there are lots of potholes and switching back and forth to snow tires... i have had it checked for FREE 3 times so far after the lifetime purchase, with two total adjustments, which now means that it has paid for itself... just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt

I took mine to the shop after I lowered it, and it was out of toe by an inch

Sorry for the confusion.
"TRD Sportivo" is a nickname TRD gives their dampers. An adhesive backed badge for mounting on the car is included in the carton with the shocks & struts.
I've just expanded the term to cover the whole damper, spring and anti-swaybar as the TRD Sportivo package.
