View Full Version : Yaris Sedan Australian Release

As far as I'm aware, Australia is one of the first countries to get the Sedan --- only a two weeks ago at the Melbourne International Motorshow, the release date was rumoured to be late march, and before we knew it -- it was already on the market only days later!

I found it extremely interesting that the Yaris Sedan (YRS trim) is priced at au $300 cheaper than the hatch equivelent! Previously, the Echo Sedan was priced the same as the Echo Sportivo (top model). At a guess, it's a smart marketing strategy for Toyota to increase SEDAN sales .

Anyhow, once they start appearing at dealerships, i'll take some pics ;)

YARIS SEDAN .... HAS NOT been released just yet. There is stock in the country, and some will be in dealerships this month. Official release will be late March - no date has been sent to dealerships just yet.

If all goes to plan, i'll be loooking over a new sedan in person late next week --- if i do, i'll make sure to take some pics and post them.

Went to the local car dealership tonight in search of a sedan ---- finally found one out the back hidden behind some corollas and hilux's! :)

a) Crappy lookin 14s -- or are they 15s? look SHIT on this Yaris YR that they are giving away --- look at that gap in teh wheel arch!!! *cringes* The body absolutey dwarfs them!

b) A new corolla waiting to be preped before being handed to the customer... fresh of the boat yo!

We have a very large production plant here. Half ot the Camry's manaufactured in Avalon, Victoria, Australia are shipped to the Middle East, and other countries!
