I am thinking of buying the exhaust for my sedan when I receive my tax return.

Probably gonna go with Nitto.

Anyone have the pictures of their cars with the exhaust on it? I just want to know how big it looks after you install them. Preferrably the car with the lip kit on, because I am worried that the tip of the exhaust might end up touching the rear lip and melt it..

P.S. don't be a dumbass like me and put that sticker on, its already melted away....the exhaust tip is about 1 inch spaced from my rear bumper, i had my exhaust on since around the beginning of fall (october) and no melting problems...

The S's rear valence could be trimmed nicely to surround the top of that pipe and give it a finished look. My TRD axle-back is below the rear valance and looks rather add-on. I may visit a muffler shop to inquire about raising it a couple inches and trim the valence accordingly.

What is your exhaust? Custom? I am leaning towards HK1 sold by garm....

Good luck on your purchase though - the Nitto exhaust looks sick IMO! I <3 it!

It's just them giving the money back to you that you've let them use (for free) all year and earn interest on. So I've come to accept that a refund isn't a refund at all  It is nice to get a little back instead of having to give a little more. This year we managed to only owe $300 and last year it was $1650. So at least I'm going in the right direction

Hmm nitto exhaust looks really out of place without the S kit. Kinda akwardly at a angle sticking out no offense. I think with the S kit if it could fit cleanly would look good.

I used to have a greddy Sp exhaust when i had my 240sx. Now that was a huge exhaust tip. Now that ive grown older over the years. I want something little more oem look and not too loud. I like the honda exhaust tips like on thier Si model and the newer accords thats kinda oval and not too big. But to find something like that i would have to get something custom built.

Nope, no silencer. It has a nice deep tone though and not too loud.

Yes, custom 2.25" resonator back to a Magnaflow muffler.

Did you paint the inside of the tip?

No, that's just the way the burnt tip came.

Brian

I think the HK1 is closer to the sound of the magnaflow only a little bit deeper tone.
