hey guys/gals

now that im in kitchener, i was thinking about setting up a meet...

i have a several matrix friends in the area that would likely come out, as well as some 9thgencorolla.com guys....

just wondering if some yaris locals would be interested in a meet...

im thinking maybe end of april, maybe...?

the sportsworld area where the outback steakhouse used to be was where we used to have meets....just sit and chat in the parking lot...maybe go for a cruise...

whos interested in a meet-and-greet?

Sounds good, all depends on the day, since my work schedule is all over the place. Hope i could make it.

Montreal to kitchener is about 6 to 8 hours, depends on toronto traffic! I usual do montreal to toronto in about 4.5 hours non stop.

LOL sportsworld. My cousins and I got kicked outta there for hitting one of the guys who cleans up the golf balls in the head. Good fun!

I may be able to make it down there!

I'm still deciding if I should go with a Yaris or not as a replacement vehicle for my older Taurus. However, meets are always fun. Not that I'd go, as I don't have a Yaris. I'm sure I'd get a lot of evil looks showing up in my '00 Durango R/T with the 5.9L V* that averages 13.5mpg on a good day LOL.

EDIT: I'm in K-town by the way.

Don't worry...the Waterloo Toyota dealer isn't too sure of me either. I've been in and out of there at least ten times in the last two years. I figure if I'm going to replace the Taurus this should be the time to do it with all the great deals available lately.

Don't worry. I'm in no rush. I've already made all my good decisions anyway. I'm 26 (27 in June) years old and semi-retired! I own a house that I can't live in, as I rent it out to university students; I own three vehicles, none of which the wife can drive because they scare her since they're 'too big'.

I mentioned it to the wife a while ago when she wanted to get her license about replacing my Taurus so I came online and found this site. The idea was shelved for a while as she was too busy to go out for driving lessons and the Taurus is a bit too big for her to handle while learning. This past fall she mentioned she's decided that she wants to learn again and seemed more serious so I've been asking more questions on here.

She took the Yaris for the test drive the last couple times, so I know she is serious. I took her out for lessons in my friends Tercel (which I despise getting in and out of), and she was quite comfortable.

Perhaps what I need to do is to get a full time job. Part time landscape business works fine and keeps me in shape...decisions....

ya, im still in...i was actually talking to my wife about this the other day

some of the boys from matrixowners.com are looking to do another dyno meet this spring/summer.....forrest and forrest racing has moved from s-w kitchener to a bit in the country, so we're waiting for them to set up their dyno shop again

last time we did a dyno meet we had a big bbq at one of the local guys houses...i think that might be the plan again

interest in dynoing? the last time i went i think it cost us about 30 or 40$ for 2 or 3 pulls

PK with his bump ahead of spam trick.

Back on track here. I said it in October, and I'll say it again. I would love to have a meet-up in St. Jacobs.

My household is jonesing for some summer sausage so we have to get to the market soon. However, the market is an impossible place to meet. Parking lot at the River Works is huge and has ample space to gather by the river.
