Just wondering if the sway bar promotes tire wear on the rear tires outer edges? Aside from taking turns faster, that obviously would wear out quicker but since it keeps the rear firm and less sway when the car turns, does that put more weight on the outer edges instead of letting the rear torsion bar just flex a bit more thus not putting more force on it?

No, you won't see any more wear than normal provided you keep the same driving habits.

There's the kicker. The rear swaybar is likely to inspire you to corner harder and faster, which will increase tire wear.

But, the bar in and of itself won't affect tire wear at all.

i cant believe how often this comes up! maybe stick this in the suspension primer? a "what effects tire wear" category perhaps?
