I was curious what the inside of the yaris looks like with the entire center console removed (including the trim around the manual shift lever, the ebrake, etc).

Anyone have a pic of that?

Thanks!

Here you go...it's a little close up, but you get the idea.

While that pic is very much appreciated, I was hoping for one that shows more of the entire area.

Again, thanks though!

You're in luck...

I dropped a quarter down there today, and am going to remove the center floor piece to get it. I will snap pics.

They would be PERFECT if your car was a manual. But thank you so much anyway! I have no doubt this photos will help others as well.

My reason for wanting the photos is that I'm considering running no center console in the Yaris I plan on buying soon. I want to see what the area underneath looks like so I can make a nice light carpet cover. I'm a big fan of minimalist cars/interiors :D

Again, thanks!

Here is another pic I took tonight before the camera died. Let me know if you need any more...I'm getting fresh batteries tomorrow.

I dont even want to know how much change is down in there and under the carpet, I am ALWAYS losing change out of my pockets (very small pockets in the khakis) and it falls right down the parking brake slot.

i dropped a really tiny 16bg usb stick down the parking brake slot, and so thats like $50 just sitting down there. While these pics are great to see whats under there, i am curious as to how you exposed it, did you just remove that one screw in the cup holder?

I dropped my swiss army knife down the parking brake slot yesterday :( I need to take that part out too lol. I already have the shifter area open where I've been running my under dash/seat wiring through but I'm gonna have to take the whole thing out it looks like to get my knife back.

I actually did a mini DIY when I installed my radio last April. It was to explain how to remove the center console completely to attach an E-brake wire for the video. It has no pics, but the directions are easy to follow. Take what you want from it, its far from a end-all DIY lol.

Hope it helps

Yes, unless you have the OEM arm rest. With no armrest it is just that screw and then lift. With the armrest you have to remove the armrest (which has one screw on the back side and has a wire loop under the two seat bolts.
