Auto dim mirror with compass and temp

You need to run wiring up from below the dash and a wire through the firewall for the temp and compass probe. They sell mounting brackets and wire covers (for the little wire that runs from the headliner to the mirror.

I kind of like the GENK31.

As a longtime user of the Gentex mirrors, I must say that I love them, I have auto-dimming mirrors stock in the I30 and so this is kind of a must for me in the Yaris, I'm going to be getting one of the units with compass/temp and homelink, GENK50

I prefer the Donnelly Autodimming Temp/Compass mirror. I have been using the same mirror in 4 different cars since 2000 and it is still going strong. The Temp/Compass display is in the bottom of the mirror casing so it does not take up any realstate on the mirror itself. Looks more professional.
