Dear sirs,

We have a Toyota Yaris 1.0 from the Netherlands and the FM radio is'tn working anymore.

The AM radio is fully working, but the FM not.
At the car dealer they said it's not the antenna but the electronics of the Yaris.

We have a dashboard like this (http://www.in.gr/auto/parousiaseis/foto_big/in_Toyota_Yaris_18.jpg).

The model is a Yaris Linea Terra from 2000. We bought it in 2003.

Do you know a known error or an solution?
If you want to know some more information please ask.

I'm looking forward for your answers...

Thanks!

if the car was imported, the FM channels might be using a whole different frequency range than your country.

Well sadly it is a 9 year old car. Things do have a tendency to break down (even Toyotas ). I suspect the radio just died... bad capacitor, an imperfect solder joint weakened by summer heat and vibration; it could be any thing, really. You should just get an aftermarket replacement. Good luck!
