View Full Version : Neo Wedge LED for HVAC

Well this is strange. I switched my ventilation control lights to the neo wedge LEDs last year sometime. They have worked 100% up until the other day. First, my heat/cool dial started to flicker, then died. Then yesterday, my vent position LED did the same thing. The only one left is the top dial.

Anyone who has switched their HVAC LEDs have this problem?

just typical lifespan of those premade LED bulbs. only have a diode and resistor protecting it, and over time the power spikes in your car kill it. Not much you can do about it.

Makes sense. I don't really want to go back to incandescent bulbs though ... they look nasty. :tongue:
