Maybe I should get one of those instead of another Yaris. You think I can get it for the same $$?

I see them all the time when I got to Malibu.

Gorgeous car, but still I prefer the original GT40

As always, the original is best. WHY do people insist on saying "They loved that, so we'll change it".

It's a design style/conspiracy started by designer J. Mays he calls "RetroFuturism" to TRY to keep American autos afloat as long as possible (I know Fords doing better than the other 2 right now, but the economy will catch up with them over time), while once again focusing on only what they think we want instead of listening to us on what exactly we need. Sure it worked in the 60's, but it's just not gonna fly anymore today.

But I do have to give some credit to Mays for breaking the mold and keeping us afloat as long as he could with style, even though his 50's Thunderbird revamp of the late 90's was a total flop. At least some people still like his GT and Mustang, and even his New Beetle from within the last 10 years (not sure why :barf:)

IMO classics aren't meant to be messed with

I have one in the garage. I just drive the Yaris to make people think I'm not a snob

My buddy Joe back in Jacksonville, Florida has one. He supercharged it and it is about 1000hp at the wheels. Insanely fast! I think there my be some youtube videos on it, just search 'joe's ford gt"
But it is an amazing supercar.
